The University of Texas Press, publisher of Cinema Journal, has the right to sell members' mailing addresses to appropriate parties (other university and academic presses, academic departments who want to publicize new programs, related organizations etc.).  The list does not include SCMS members' phone numbers or e-mail addresses.
 
The SCMS office does not provide contact or other information about SCMS members to individuals or organizations who are not members of the Society.  The online members' directory is accessible exclusively to other members. Members can choose what information they want to include in the online directory. Members often do include their phone numbers and e-mail addresses. Likewise, there are members who only allow their names to be included in the directory. People should exercise caution in deciding what information to include in the online directory and this can be accomplished through the SCMS membership profile.
 
If information about an individual member is requested by someone outside of the organization, we will forward the request directly to the member.
