The Screening Committee invites nominations for screenings for the 2011 SCMS Conference in New Orleans, March 10-13. Screenings will run concurrently with panel and workshop sessions and occasionally link directly to the content of panels or workshops.  If you would like to bring titles to the committee’s attention, please complete the online nomination submission form and submit by September 1, 2010 (5 pm CST).

Note:  Only Region 1/NTSC DVDs can be considered, and run times must be 105 minutes or less.  Please do not request a given day or time for your screening, and do not send DVDs until the Screening Program Committee has notified you. 

SCMS members are encouraged to submit film titles through SCMS Caucus Chairs; in curating our selections, the Screening Committee will work closely with the caucuses, as well as the Conference Program and Host Committees.  We are especially keen to reflect a diverse range of formal, stylistic, and cultural traditions, and of amateur as well as professional work.  Connections to the conference theme or to proposed panels or workshops are warmly encouraged but not required.
