<div class="gmail_default" style="color: rgb(34, 34, 34);"><span style="line-height: 1.25em;">Part of&nbsp;</span><span style="line-height: 1.25em;">​the​&nbsp;</span><span style="line-height: 1.25em;">Reel Heritage initiative, this public lecture, delivered by&nbsp;</span><span style="line-height: 1.25em;">Toronto-based media and film archivist Christina Stewart is dedicated to the whys and hows of motion picture handling, the value of proper training, the tools of the motion picture handler, and the material history of the film medium. The lecture will be followed by a Q&amp;A with the audience.&nbsp;</span><span style="line-height: 1.25em;">In advance of the event, we will be taking questions for Christina Stewart on Twitter via #reelheritage.</span><span style="line-height: 1.25em;">​</span></div>

<div class="gmail_default" style="color: rgb(34, 34, 34);"><span style="line-height: 1.25em;"></span><span style="line-height: 1.25em;">Christina Stewart has a background in Media Arts and is a graduate of the L. Jeffrey Selznick School of Film Preservation at George Eastman House. She has worked with collections at the Canadian National Exhibition Archives, Northeast Historic Film, National Steinbeck Center, and the Canadian Filmmakers Distribution Centre, in addition to the Warner Bros. Nitrate Film Collection held at George Eastman House. Christina has taught film identification and handling workshops through archival associations across Canada and is currently Front End Manager at Niagara Custom Lab.</span></div>
