SCMS Annual Conference - Bulletin Board Submission

To encourage and facilitate the exchange of ideas, SCMS operates an online forum page on which you can announce your proposed panel or workshop topics to solicit participants. To submit a posting to the official Conference Bulletin Board, click on the 2021 Conference Bulletin Board link below and Post New Topic. 

2021 Conference Bulletin Board
Only ONE submission per person.

The deadline for bulletin board submissions is Friday, August 14, 2020, 5:00PM (CST).  

The proposal submission deadline is Tuesday, September 15, 2020, 5:00PM (CST).

Bulletin Board and Panel/Workshop Submission Details:

  • To be able to submit an announcement, individuals must be registered users of the SCMS website.

  • All chairs/organizers must notify individuals of acceptance or rejection by Tuesday, August 28, 2020.

  • Individuals whose submissions are accepted for an advertised panel or workshop must provide the required information for completion of the proposal forms to the chair/organizer by Friday, September 4, 2020, 5:00PM CST.

  • When creating your proposal, do not include more than two individuals from the same institution without offering justification for doing so.
  • Panels should have a chair and four presenters or a chair, three presenters, and one respondent. Workshops should have a chair and at least four participants, but no more than five (excluding the chair or co-chairs).
