Biography: Andrew C. Miller is Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Communication and Media Studies at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT. He serves as the Information Technology Officer for SCMS, working with the web development team to build and maintain the SCMS website launching fall 2010. Previously he worked as an assistant director in Hollywood before completing a Ph.D. at the University of Pittsburgh. He is currently completing a manuscript on the cultural history of the American sports film genre.
