Biography: Biography: Caetlin Benson-Allott is Associate Professor of English and Film and Media Studies at Georgetown University. She is the author of Killer Tapes and Shattered Screens: Video Spectatorship from VHS to File Sharing (University of California Press, 2013) and Remote Control (Bloomsbury Press, January 2015). She is the Editor of JCMS: Journal of Cinema and Media Studies and a regular columnist and contributing editor at Film Quarterly. She serves on the Board as an ex-officio member representing JCMS.
