Victoria E. Johnson

Biography

Victoria E. Johnson is Professor of Film and Media Studies and African American Studies at the University of California, Irvine. She has served as Chair of the Department of Film and Media Studies. Prior to her appointment at UC Irvine she held faculty positions at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor (Visiting) and at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She was Wolf Visiting Professor of Television Studies at the University of Pennsylvania in 2009.
