Biography
Priscilla Peña Ovalle is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Cinema Studies and Graduate Faculty member of Indigenous, Race, and Ethnic Studies (IRES) at the University of Oregon. Ovalle is an interdisciplinary media scholar focusing on production and performance, with training in film and new media production (Emerson College), Cinema & Media Studies (USC), and American Studies and Ethnicity (USC).
